Jennifer White Gilchrist | Chair
jgilchrist@lphi.org

A home-grown Alexandrian, Jennifer White Gilchrist, is blessed with three wonderful children and her husband, Scott. After leaving Alexandria to attend college, graduate school and early professional life, she returned to the area in 1992. Jennifer loves that Central Louisiana remains home to her family and friends, but also that she has come to know it in a new way - as a mother, professional and community member.

With her master’s degree in social work, she has served her community as Central Louisiana Healthy Communities Coalition Chair and specializes in tobacco prevention and control as Regional Manager for The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living. She believes her endeavors are only as successful as the partners with whom she collaborates and looks forward to bringing more positive health initiatives to Central Louisiana.
