Stopping Disease Before It Starts

Targeting Prevention and Access to Medical Care In The Florida Parishes/Region 9

Stopping disease before it starts is better for everyone and cheaper. That’s why the Florida Parishes/Region 9 LHCC is stressing disease prevention, management of disease once it strikes, and access to care. The last is key because if people can’t get life-saving screenings, medications, advice and more, they are more likely to live sicker and die sooner, which costs all of us.
